Luke Baker
DIRECTOR
A true sport enthusiast at heart, Luke’s Asset Finance Broking journey started straight after University where he would spend the next 13 years perfecting his trade by dedicating his time in understanding every client’s financial needs and ensuring they were met.
Luke’s passion is to ensure his service offering to all clients & referrers is second to none and is dedicated to helping businesses of all sizes access the funds they need to grow & thrive.
Through exceptional service comes long-lasting relationships which is the foundation that Baker Financial was built on.
Away from assisting his clients, Luke loves attending or catching up on all things sport but most of all, spending quality time with his family; wife Abbie, his two boys Harry & Thomas & Dog Bella.
Abbie Baker
DIRECTOR
With a strong customer focus coupled with impeccable communication skills, Abbie specialises in the operational & recruitment side of Baker Financial. Her passion is to ensure all stakeholder requirements are met whilst maintaining high internal standards across the business.
With over 10 years of recruitment experience, Abbie’s expertise in the onboarding of quality staff is what ensures an impeccable service offering for all clients of Baker Financial.
Away from business, Abbie loves spending time with her growing family; husband Luke & two boys Harry & Thomas.
Angus Baldwin
DIRECTOR
Angus has been an equipment finance broker since 2016. After completing his finance degree from East Tennessee State University, he liked the idea of assisting small and medium sized businesses back home in Australia. He genuinely likes assisting his wide range of customers and enjoys helping them grow.
Angus has worked closely with Luke Baker for 8 years and together they have built a great reputation in the finance broking industry.
Like the rest of the Baker Financial team, Angus is very much a family man spending quality time with wife Amber and a young daughter Ruby. They are members of various sports clubs including Leichhardt Swimming Club, Killarney Vale Bombers and Mingara Athletics.
Colby Howard
Graduate Analyst
Colby graduated from university in 2023. During and after his studies, he spent three years building a solid foundation in corporate finance while working at a Big Four firm. With a strong understanding of financial principles and a practical approach to problem-solving, he recently made the move into asset finance broking to work more closely with clients and deliver tailored solutions.
Colby is eager to apply his corporate experience to help businesses grow through strategic finance options. With a passion for learning and a commitment to adding value, he is excited to contribute to the team's success and continue developing within the industry.
Outside of work, Colby stays active playing AFL and cricket for his local clubs. A keen traveller, he spent two months exploring Europe in 2023, embracing new cultures and experiences.
Brandon White
Graduate Analyst
Brandon has recently launched his career in Asset Finance after spending most of his professional life within the hospitality industry, as a cocktail bartender and bar manager. In the past four years Brandon has been living abroad in Canada, where he managed multiple bars and pursued his love of snowboarding.
Brandon thrives on connecting with other people and building strong relationships, which have been a cornerstone of his journey so far. Now, he is excited to apply his diverse experiences to the world of Asset Financing, where he can focus on helping businesses grow and forging lasting partnerships.
